FeltGIS, which develops digital solutions for efficient and sustainable forestry with a focus on environmental management and documentation, has several of Norway's largest actors on its customer list. The company has experienced significant growth in recent years and has now made strategic changes to its board to ensure further growth and expansion.

Ingvild Næss has been appointed as the new chair of the board, while Endre Sæther continues as a board member. Additionally, Richard Heiberg has joined the board as a new member. Ola Rostad, who has been an important part of FeltGIS’s development since 2019, both as the chair and a member of the board, has chosen to step back from his role. The company thanks him for his valuable efforts and contributions during his time on the board.

Ingvild Næss, now appointed as the new chair of the board, has a background as a business lawyer at Thommessen, a leadership education from Stanford, and has a successful career as CIO for Schibsted and managing director for Schibsted Enterprise Technology. She also leads a team of privacy lawyers as Chief Privacy and Data Trends Officer. Næss was named Norway's Media Leader of the Year in 2023, and her expertise and leadership skills will play a key role for FeltGIS.

Richard Heiberg, who has had a significant career in the banking and finance sector, becomes a new board member. He has been the CEO of SpareBank 1 Østlandet, where he was a driving force behind the bank's growth for over a decade. Heiberg is the chair of Sparebankstiftelsen Hedmark and a board member of Sparebank 1 Factoring AS. He has also held leading positions in Norske Skog and was the managing director of both Forestia and Nordic Paper. He brings extensive experience in the forestry industry, finance, and management to FeltGIS.
